We may talk a lot about financial wellbeing, but after two years of Covid and its impact on mental health, we’re making a conscious effort to do more in our community to champion sport and physical health, especially in young people.
We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Wiltshire Cricket Talent Pathway programme, which supports junior county cricket across the county.
Wiltshire Cricket provides both a winter talent pathway programme, and a summer match play programme, for boys under 10 through to under-18s hoping to progress to the senior sides, and for girls from under 11s through to a full county women’s team.
Head of sponsorship at Wiltshire Cricket, Ged Montgomery, explains more about the talent pathway:
“Providing a talent pathway is not just important for the players directly involved, but it also helps to drive standards across all levels of the game, including at club level, where approximately 40 clubs offer junior cricket programmes.
“The talent pathway programme provides the structure to allow any young cricketer in Wiltshire to reach their full potential. This fantastic sponsorship from Hartsfield will prove invaluable with approximately 300 young cricketers benefitting.”
John White, a Financial Planner from our Wiltshire pod is a big cricket fan (and occasional cricket coach) and is especially excited about our partnership with Wiltshire Cricket
“I love how cricket brings communities together. It’s a wonderful combination of sport and social, two things we’ve particularly missed over the last couple of years.” – John White, Financial Planner, Hartsfield
Ged Montgomery also told us how grateful he was for our support:
“We are delighted to welcome Hartsfield Financial Planning as a major sponsor for the Wiltshire Cricket Talent Pathway Programme for juniors aged 10 to 17. We’re a not-for-profit company so we rely on income from our sponsors to deliver the County’s cricket schedule.
“We look forward with great anticipation to working with the team at Hartsfield and we hope to see them at many cricket grounds in Wiltshire and across the South West.”
The sponsorship deal will last 12 months and here at Hartfield, we’re all looking forward to seeing a spot of cricket throughout the 2022 season, helping to support the Wiltshire County teams.
