We realise we’ve been talking a lot about our charity trust recently so now that we’ve caught our breath after the epic Three Peaks Challenge, we thought we’d share with you what’s been going on back at base camp (excuse the pun!)
You might know already that at Hartsfield, we have our own in-house investment service. We’re incredibly proud of our investment arm (aptly named; Hartsfield Investment) because it’s rare for a financial advice firm to have this service in-house.
So, we’re even prouder to announce that as growth continues, we are partnering with a company called Fairview Investing to enhance our investment proposition. As you know, we like to be upfront, so, whilst we don’t expect you to get as excited about this as our very dedicated Investment Portfolio Manager Gareth, it is exciting news for all our investment clients.
Ben Yearsley and Gavin Haynes from Fairview will act as an extension of the Hartsfield team; they’ll sit on our investment committee, and we’ll benefit from the hundreds of fund manager interviews they carry out every year.
Ultimately, this will help us improve our investment service, so you see even more success with your investments. We’re thrilled to have the duo on board to challenge us and to share the benefit of all their research so we can make our investment service even better than it is already.
And as you know, community is really important to us, so the fact that Fairview is based in Bristol is just the icing on the investment cake. Our resident expert Gareth can talk all day about investments (and often does!) so if you’d like to find out more about investments, do get in touch.
From Fairview to a fair view
In terms of rugby that is. We’re excited to be sponsoring Corsham Rugby Club this season. We’re definitely a team of rugby fans, in fact, some of you may have spotted our recent team outing to Bristol Bears vs Bath Rugby, so we’re hoping to be able to get down to Corsham to view a fair few games now that rugby season is upon us.
