The Gold Standard is a voluntary code of good practice for safeguarded and defined benefit pension transfer advice, based around a set of principles.
Firms can adopt and promote this standard and principles, so consumers can better understand and find good advice, and be confident they are dealing with a firm that is going beyond minimum requirements when giving financial advice.

The Financial Vulnerability Taskforce is a newly created independent professional body covering the Personal Finance, Insurance and wider Financial Services Sector. Its ultimate purpose is to promote greater understanding, encourage appropriate behaviours and establish good practice in respect of consumer vulnerability.

Associate Firm status is awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the professional body for insurance and personal finance.
Associate firm status demonstrates our commitment to a set of 8 core professionalism principles and Code of Ethics, set out by the Personal Finance Society (PFS).

Three of our team, Michael Blair, Mark Futcher and Simon Moriarty, are Chartered Financial Planners. Chartered status is awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the professional body for insurance and personal finance.
