Professional

After graduating in 2015 I spent 10 years working in financial crime compliance for several UK and Australian based Banks focussing on anti-money laundering, transaction monitoring, and client risk assessments. In 2025, I decided to transition into the financial planning world and joined Hartfield as a Trainee Financial Planner.

What matters most

What matters most to Lewis about working for Hartsfield?

The most rewarding part of working at Hartsfield is being alongside experienced professionals that truly care about their clients and each other. I love the collaborative energy where ideas are shared, clients come first, and everyone’s driven by a genuine passion for helping people feel more confident about their financial future.

What matters most to Lewis about his specific role?

I really enjoy getting to know my clients and understanding their goals to help shape financial plans that genuinely improve their lives. I love the challenge of being in a role where learning never stops and translating complex financial jargon into something that feels clear and reassuring is a privilege.

What matters most to Lewis outside of work?

Spending quality time with family and friends matters the most to me. My partner and I love cooking so we’re always trying out new recipes at home - I have zero shame in admitting her culinary skills are far superior to mine.

I’m a huge sports fan and when I’m not chasing my 1-year-old daughter around, you’ll find me chasing around a football pitch somewhere in the southwest.
