I have over 30 years of experience in the financial services sector. For the last 13 years, I have been involved with relatively small IFA practices, working closely with Advisers and Paraplanners to provide clients with a professional, accurate and easily understood service.

What matters most to Merryl about working for Hartsfield?

Good administration and support are the backbone of any business and I liked the companies 4C ethos, Clients, Colleagues, Company and Community.

I feel it is important that good administrators are treated at equals within a business, that they are appreciated and not under-valued and this came across during the interview process.

What matters most to Merryl about her specific role?

I enjoy being part of the whole team, obtaining background existing policy information in a timely manner - at least as timely as the provider allow - and supporting colleagues throughout the discovery, planning and delivery process.

What matters most to Merryl outside of work

I enjoy pottering around in the garden, trying to keep on top of the weeds! Spending quality time with family and friends - last year we welcomed the first baby boy into our family for 38 years (8 girls previously), not that he is going to be spoilt rotten obviously.

I have two cats, Jazz and Tilly who are 16 years old. I enjoy reading mystery novels, walking and playing cards - I am captain of a cribbage team at my local.
